Anahit Karapetyan is the Director of Activities for the Saving the Sea Organization. Growing up in a family of notable scientists who have continuously impacted the world and expanded our knowledge and understanding of natural sciences, Anahit discovered her passion for chemical, biological, and environmental sciences from a young age. Helping her get one step closer to resolving environmental issues and leaving her mark in a cleaner and greener world has been her goal ever since.

Outside of Saving the Sea, Anahit also serves as the Co-President of the Environmental Club at her high school, where she embarks passion in new members of the club through various hands-on activities, including tree planting events, aquarium, museum, and park field trips. She tries to spread awareness and find solutions to environmental dangers by collaborating with various organizations and her school’s Publications team. Anahit also speaks five languages, as she considers her ability to communicate in multiple languages a tool of connection with international organizations, which she hopes to further utilize in achieving her goals and aspirations worldwide.
