Arman Rostomyan

Saving the Sea Lead Director

GUSD Chapter President

Arman Rostomyan is the Lead Director of the Saving the Sea Organization, as well as the President of the GUSD Chapter of Saving the Sea. After discovering a passion for helping with environmental issues, Arman started his GUSD Chapter and even became President of the Environmental Club at his school, Clark Magnet High School, to further his education on the environment and have access to more initiatives, where he would be able to help out through hands-on activities. Of these activities, the most prominent is the Heal the Bay beach cleanups in which the Saving the Sea Organization has participated. Arman has also contacted his school and is working on different projects to teach his fellow students about climate change, pollution, and more. As a result of his hard work in environmental activism, especially with Saving the Sea, Arman was appointed as Lead Director of the organization.

Arman is also setting up initiatives outside of Saving the Sea, such as tree planting, field trips to museums and aquariums, and more ways to help the environment and teach others how important it is to protect our planet. He was also part of the Mock Trial team at Clark Magnet for two years and gained an officer position, which allowed him to learn to be a leader and take charge when an opportunity arose. Arman is thrilled to work more with his fellow directors, presidents, and members to make the planet just a little bit greener!
