Shant Ispendjian 

Shant Ispendjian is the Founder of the Saving the Sea Organization and serves on the Board of Directors this year as the Operations Coordinator. Shant founded the organization in early 2022 after finding a passion for environmental advocacy and sustainability. He is responsible for Saving the Sea’s expansion into high schools across Southern California.

Shant is a freshman at Brown University studying both International and Public Affairs and Environmental Studies. He is actively involved in his local government, serving as a Student Commissioner on the City of Glendale’s Sustainability Commission. Shant looks forward to the coming year and is excited to work with all the other amazing chapter presidents and members.
