Alexandra Flores

Alexandra Flores is a Political Science and Sociology double major at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with double minors in Legal Studies and Art & Design. Alexandra is a Policy Analyst on Saving the Sea's State Policy team, and she is excited to work with other analysts and develop impactful policy recommendations to better the community. Alexandra is passionate about environmental sustainability because she has seen its impacts on her Latino community. She is committed to fighting for protections and implementing guardrails to prevent environmental destruction.

Beyond Saving the Sea, Alexandra serves in her community as President of an organization called Latinx in Law. She focuses on increasing accessibility to resources that best prepare Latino students for future careers or graduate school.
