Catie Giesen is a student majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University and serves as a Policy Analyst on the Federal Policy Team at Saving the Sea. She is passionate about advancing environmental policy through engineering and scientific research and hopes to use her experience at Saving the Sea to engineer and advocate for solutions to large-scale environmental challenges.
Outside of Saving the Sea, Catie is a passionate pianist and harpsichordist, as well as an advocate for music access through The Houston Instrument Share, a community service initiative dedicated to expanding instrument access for HISD students. Through both science and the arts, she is committed to creating opportunities that promote a more sustainable future.
