Hyejun Yun

Hyejun Yun is a student at UC Santa Cruz studying Politics and Legal Studies, and currently serves as the Chief of Staff of Saving the Sea. Since joining in 2023, she has found a growing passion for environmental advocacy. She looks forward to collaborating with other Saving the Sea leaders and partaking in community-wide initiatives to enhance environmental sustainability for future generations.

Beyond Saving the Sea, Hyejun has been involved in community-based projects spanning a wide range of causes, from teen drug prevention and rehabilitation to improving literacy among elementary school students. Through these initiatives and her leadership skills, she hopes to better connect with the youth and the future leaders of sustainability efforts.
