Javier Lainez

Javier Lainez is a student majoring in International Affairs at George Washington University. Serving as a Policy Analyst, he works alongside other members of Saving the Sea's State-level team. Prior research and projects on environmental issues such as climate change and epidemiology have fueled his passion to advocate for solutions and collaboration, especially at the state level. He hopes to carry his environmental work and research to law school and advance conservation efforts.

Beyond Saving the Sea, Javier loves swimming, playing soccer, hiking, and natural photography. Additionally, he loves listening to a variety of music, plays guitar, and has canvassed about environmental issues around the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
