Moukthika Kanakala is a student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Economics and Political Science. She is a Policy Analyst with Saving the Sea, and she is committed to promoting sustainability and environmental justice through advocacy, education, and research. Moukthika has contributed to a range of community-based environmental initiatives, including conducting experimental research on freshwater pollution and ultrasonic treatment methods, as well as performing sustainability analyses for nonprofit and educational institutions.
Outside of Saving the Sea, Moukthika also conducts research for refugee rights nonprofits. In her free time, she loves playing the piano, hiking, and cooking.
